Brooke plays lead Alto in the Limestone Jazz Collective. She also plays regularly with the Big Phat Horn Band, Heatwave Motown Band and the Taylor Donaldson Octet.
Caitlin Barton, Alto/Soprano
Caitlin plays alto saxophone with the Limestone Jazz Collective. She is also the founder and music director for the Variety Orchestra and Guitar Circle, and is an elementary music teacher.
About The Saxobelles
Well established members of the Kingston music scene, The Saxobelles are a funky alternative to a string quartet. Playing music ranging from pop to classical to jazz, these 4 women put a delightful spin on familiar tunes. The Saxobelles are all experienced big band musicians who have branched out to offer a variety of musical genres. Andrea plays baritone sax with The Limestone Jazz Collective Big Band. She also plays alto/baritone with the Nostalgic Sounds 'Little' Big Band. She occasionally subs in for colleagues in other groups around town.
Suzanne is the lead tenor player of the LaSalle Causeway Swing Band. She is a regular member of the Cranberry Dixie Band and subs with other local groups. She is also an accomplished flutist.
